Product safety recall – All 2025 hybrid models with ACID MTB HYBRID PRO crank arms – Inspection of crank bolt necessary!

Dear CUBE customer,

On the basis of in-house testing and market feedback on crank arms working loose, we have linked the cause to a defective crank bolt.

To maintain product safety, the crank bolt must be inspected by a CUBE dealer without delay. Continued use of the affected models without inspection by a CUBE dealer can lead to the crank arms working loose and falling off, potentially causing an accident.

If your bicycle is one of the models listed below it is affected by this issue. Please contact your CUBE dealer to arrange for the inspection.

If the crank bolt on your bicycle has the marking shown in Figs. 2 & 3, it has already been checked and is not affected.
