PRODUCT SAFETY RECALL

PROHIBITION OF FURTHER USE

AGREE C:62 MODEL YEARS 2025 AND 2026

We wish to inform about a Product Safety Recall. The recall covers all CUBE Agree C:62 models from the 2025 and the 2026 model year that were delivered and sold prior to 30 November 2025.

We test every bike to meet our strict safety and quality standards – in rare cases, some carbon forks have shown cracks above the brake mount. We would like to thank you for your understanding and apologise in advance for the inconvenience caused. We are working at full speed to provide replacement forks.

CURRENT INFORMATION

The use of bikes affected by this recall must stop immediately and without exception until the fork has been checked and affected forks replaced!

After analysing a small number of reported cases of cracks forming above the brake mount on our Agree C:62 carbon fibre forks, it was found that a change to the resin material as of model year 2025 may lead to isolated forks having an insufficient resin content in this area.

As a result, in rare cases the fork may not meet CUBE's own safety and quality standards in the event of high braking force. These conditions could cause the outermost carbon layers to delaminate, causing cracks and significantly weakening the fork structure, through to a complete failure of the left fork blade.

The described product defect increases the risk of an accident, which can cause material damage, serious injuries or even fatal injuries.

For safety reasons, every fork covered by this issue must be checked and, if necessary, replaced.

NEXT STEPS

If your bike and fork are affected by this issue, the replacement and all steps of processing must be carried out by authorised CUBE dealers.

  1. Stop use
Don't take any risks – do not use your bike until it has been checked.
  2. Check frame number
Use the tool provided on this page to check if your bike could be affected.
  3. Contact CUBE dealer
The dealer can check your fork to see if it is affected. Contact the CUBE dealer you purchased the bike from, or another local CUBE dealer. You can use our dealer search to find dealers near you.
  4. Processing and replacement
Your CUBE dealer will look after all aspects of processing and replacing the fork on site.

CHECK YOUR BIKE

To check if your bike is covered by the recall you will need your frame (WOW) number. You will also need the serial number on the fork to determine if it needs to be replaced.

Note: The serial number on the affected carbon forks is located on the steerer tube and can only be accessed by removing the headset. This work should only be done by a bike professional – please contact an authorised CUBE dealer to have your fork checked.

Step 1: Enter frame number

Please first enter the frame number in the tool below to see if your Agree C:62 could be affected.
Please note: The frame number is located on the bottom bracket. It can also be found on a silver sticker in one of the following locations depending on the frame type:
  • on the left chainstay
  • on the underside of the top tube or down tube
About the frame number: The frame number begins with the starting part “WOW”, followed by five digits and then four letters. When checking in the tool, please enter only the digits and letters; the starting part “WOW” does not need to be entered.

Step 2: Check fork

If the tool confirms your bike is affected, you can then directly enter the fork serial number to check if the fork is also affected.
