Great brakes build confidence, add safety and, ultimately, are more fun. The Numove 240 Disc brings the predictable stopping power of hydraulic disc brakes to a perfectly scaled-down all-terrain bike that's ideal for youngsters who are growing their skills. Feed their passion!

You can't just stick brakes designed for adult hands on a kid's bike. That's why, for the Numove 240 Disc, we fitted 140mm rotors and child-specific levers for its Tektro hydraulic disc brake system. With a wide range of adjustment and just the right amount of power and modulation for a lighter rider, they're the perfect accompaniment to the Newmen Performance 22 Light wheelset and Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres. Easy-shifting 8-speed gears cover a wide range, and the adjustable stem means it's straightforward to tweak the bike's fit as your child grows. It's the complete package for adventurous youngsters.

Aluminium Lite 6061

There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.
