Precautionary replacement of ACID battery packs

Dear CUBE Customer,

We regret to inform you that our standard checks have found a production fault in a small percentage of the following items

  • 93067 - ACID Outdoor LED Light HPA 2000
  • 93068 - ACID Outdoor LED Light HPA 1300
  • 17123 - ACID Li-Ion Battery Pack HPA 3400 mAH

which could cause overheating issues. The faulty cells are an increased fire risk.

Please check the serial number to see if your devices could be affected. The battery packs concerned carry the number "2044".

Battery packs with no serial number or with a different serial number are not eligible for replacement under this programme.

If your battery pack is affected, please take it for replacement to your CUBE dealer without delay. Under no circumstances should you attempt to charge the affected battery or use it in conjunction with an HPA 1300/2000. In rare cases, there is a higher risk of injury due to the fault described.

We ask for your understanding that we can only provide replacement battery packs via CUBE dealers. We regret that we cannot handle replacements directly.
