The knee protector X Actionteam is awarded as purchase tip in the latest test “17 protectors tested in the lab and real world” of Mountainbike magazine (08/2022) before other brands such as Amplifi, Bluegrass, Dainese, Endura, G-Form, Ion, IXS, O´Neal, Pearl Izumi, Rapha, Scott, Seven, Troy Lee Designs and TSG.
Verdict:
"CUBE’s firm protector pad performed well with the best average value (8.55kN), actually beating Level 2 requirements by over 100 per cent! And the extremely flat curve translates to a much gentler transmission of impact force to the body. The protector’s longer shape gives a very defined fit, although they did get pretty sweaty. Padding at the sides offers some welcome extra protection."
