We know from working with racers that they want a frame that's stiff, responsive and, above all, light. So these are exactly the qualities we built into our Phenix 240 C:62's lightweight carbon frame, but scaled down perfectly to fit younger riders. Every single detail of the frame design is aimed at reducing weight without sacrificing strength or stiffness. A tapered head tube, full carbon fork and 12mm thru-axles front and rear ensure precise steering and efficient power transfer. We kept the seatstays narrow for a comfortable ride, and cables are routed internally to match the frame's sleek looks. It's light, it's fast, and it's fun!

A really lightweight bike won't win races on its own. But it's a good starting point – and a lighter bike is more fun to ride, too. For the junior whippet in your family, the Phenix 240 C:62 SLX ticks all the right boxes. Its lightweight carbon frame and fork – perfectly proportioned for smaller riders – are just the beginning. We chose light, tough Newmen Evolution X.A.25 wheels shod with Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.1in tyres for quick acceleration. Powered them with Sram NX Eagle 1x11 gears. And added child-proportioned handlebars, grips and brake levers – connected to powerful Magura MT4 hydraulic discs – for perfect race day control, whatever the conditions. All that's left is to pedal... and win!

Nem minden szén egyforma. A C:62® szénnel megnöveltük a nagy modulusú szálak tartalmát, majd az így kapott anyagot a kötőgyantába beépített nanorészecskékkel erősítettük meg. Ami mind csak egy díszes kifejezés arra, hogy rendkívül erős, könnyű és tartós.

A kábelek összekötik a kormány kezelőszerveit az olyan létfontosságú alkatrészekkel, mint a sebességváltó és a fékek, de nem kell, hogy útban legyenek. A belső kábelvezetéssel csökkentettük a rendetlenséget és a karbantartást azáltal, hogy a kábeleket a vázon keresztül vezetjük, távol tartva őket a por- és vízszennyezéstől - vagy a kopás okozta sérüléstől -, valamint megtisztítva a kerékpár megjelenését.

Terepezéshez olyan kerékpárra van szükséged, amely gyorsan reagál, de ugyanakkor stabilnak és biztonságosnak is érzed. Itt jön képbe az Agile Ride Geometry. Az igény szerinti kormányzási precizitás, a mászási agilitás és a lejtmenet stabilitásának ideális keverékét kínálja, így tökéletes minden olyan bringás számára, aki értékeli az ösvényen töltött időt. Ha hegyikerékpáros vagy, azonnal otthon fogod érezni magad...

Az Advanced Twin Mold eljárásunkkal két pontosan gyártott formát használunk a C:62®, C:68® és C:68X® karbonvázakhoz. Az első forma a pontos rétegezést biztosítja. A második, belső forma minden egyes szál pontosan ott marad, ahol lennie kell, amíg a keret megszilárdul. Az eredmény egy lényegesen könnyebb és erősebb váz, amelynek szálsűrűsége az egyes pontokon várható terheléshez igazodik.
