If ever there was a bike frame to prove that form and function can co-exist, the Kathmandu is it. Extra-smooth welding creates joints between the High Performance Aluminium tubes that are so flawless, one tube flows almost organically into the next – and Internal Cable Routing complements the clean aesthetic. But it's not just about looks. Our sturdy Integrated Carrier 3.0 works seamlessly with the ACID mudguard, which also incorporates a rear light to accompany the included front light and mudguard. The UDH gear hanger is strong and future-proof, whilst the flat mount kickstand means you'll never struggle to find somewhere to park. And we even fitted extra mounting points on the frame, to make it easier to add extra bags, accessories and water bottles. Because you never know what you might need...

Have bike, will travel. The Kathmandu ONE's understated simplicity belies its ruggedness and adaptability. Take a closer look, and you'll spot the sturdy, versatile Integrated Carrier 3.0 – the ideal base for carrying whatever you need. Full-length ACID mudguards, front and rear lights and a flat mount kickstand are all included. Shimano's easy-to-use 2x9 Cues gears put the right ratio at your fingertips, and strong Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure you can stop safely in any weather. There's a Suntour suspension fork to help smooth even rough roads, and the Schwalbe Green Marathon tyres use recycled rubber in their construction to reduce their environmental impact. When you want to bring your little one along for the ride, it's good to know that there's a compatible CUBE child seat that's simple to fit and has all the safety features you'd expect.

A váltó- és fékkábeleknek el kell jutniuk a kormányról a vázig - de mi lenne, ha nem lenne szükség lyukakra a fejcső közelében? Olyan kialakítással álltunk elő, amely a kábeleket a fejegységen keresztül viszi be a vázba, megtartva a teljes belső kábelelvezetést, de még rendezettebbé és kevésbé feltűnővé téve azt.

Az Integrated Carrier 3.0 a rendszerintegráció következő szintje: oldalról nézve nehéz megmondani, hol végződik a csomagtartó és hol kezdődik a sárvédő. De nemcsak jól néz ki, hanem hihetetlenül erős és merev is. A beépített rugós rögzítővel és a táskák és kosarak rögzítésére alkalmas CUBE Rilink ready adapterrel a bringát egy alkalmazkodó és sokoldalú teherszállítóvá alakítja.

A kerékpár egy sokoldalú eszköz. Ezért sok kerékpáros olyan kiegészítőket is felszerel, mint a csomagtartó, sárvédők, kitámasztó és lámpák. De a Fully Equipped termékcsaládunkkal Neked már nem kell, mert mi már minderről gondoskodtunk. A gondosan kiválasztott, minden kerékpárhoz illeszkedő és integrálható kiegészítőkkel minden útra készen állsz, a hétköznapi ingázástól a hosszabb túrákig.

Túrasorozatunkat úgy terveztük, hogy eljuttassuk Önt oda, ahová kíváncsisága vezeti. Ezért természetesen kényelmes utazásra vágyik. A természetes érzésű üléspozícióval és a terheléssel vagy anélkül is stabil és megnyugtató kezelhetőséggel a Trekking Comfort Geometry pontosan azt teszi, amit a neve mond, függetlenül attól, hogy mennyi tapasztalata van a kerékpározásban.

A Smooth Welding nem egyszerű, de az értékes dolgok általában nem is azok. Két előnye van. Először is, és ez a legnyilvánvalóbb, remekül néz ki: az egyik cső szinte belefolyik a másikba. Másodszor, és ami legalább ilyen fontos, segít minimalizálni a hegesztett területekre ható terheléscsúcsokat, ami a váz nagyobb szilárdságát és tartósságát eredményezi.

A CUBE Aluminium Superlite váza hőkezelt 6061-es alumíniumból készül, amely rendelkezik azokkal a tulajdonságokkal - nagy fáradásállóság, jó merevség, alacsony súly és kiváló szilárdság -, amelyek egy kerékpárváz esetében fontosak. Ezután dupla konok csövekké alakítjuk, hogy csökkentsük a súlyt anélkül, hogy bármit is feláldoznánk a szilárdságából. Az eredmény? Kivételesen könnyű, erős és strapabíró vázak.
