But this is no featherweight carbon prima donna. We included ample clearance for 50mm tyres – or 45mm with mudguards – and a full set of luggage carrier and mudguard mounts. The Nulane C:62 SLX is proof that fast, light, rugged and versatile are all words that can be applied to a single bike. Built around our elegant, lightweight and tough C:62® carbon frame, it combines road bike pace with tourer versatility and a dose of gravel toughness. The full carbon fork perfectly complements the frame's low weight and comfortable ride characteristics, while Shimano's 1x11 Cues gears serve up perfect shifts on demand. There's a set of powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes for safe stopping in any weather, and grippy 45mm Schwalbe tyres mounted on Newmen Performance R32 wheels keep you rolling on tarmac or gravel alike. Uhlík nemusí být jako uhlík. U našeho karbonu C:62® jsme zvýšili obsah vláken s vysokým modulem pružnosti a výsledný materiál jsme pak vyztužili nanočásticemi zapracovanými do spojovací pryskyřice. To vše je elegantní způsob, jak vytvořit extrémně pevný, lehký a odolný materiál.

Řadicí a brzdová lanka se musí dostat z řídítek do rámu – ale co kdyby nebylo nutné mít otvory v blízkosti trubky hlavice? Vymysleli jsme konstrukci, která vede kabely do rámu přes sadu hlavice, čímž zachovává kompletní vnitřní vedení kabelů, ale je ještě úhlednější a méně rušivé.

Jsou to právě drobné detaily, na kterých záleží. Díky možnosti snadné montáže blatníků po celé délce, nosiče brašen a stojanu na kola můžete své kolo učinit ještě o něco univerzálnějším a snadněji ovladatelným. Mokré silnice, věci, které musíte převážet, nebo není kde si po příjezdu opřít kolo? Žádný problém – postaráme se o to.

Adventure sometimes demands different kit. That's where our low rider rack mounts come in. Designed to accept an optional fork rack, they're a great way to carry up to 10kg of additional weight for extended tours. Not only that but carrying some of your luggage over the front wheel helps improve weight distribution and handling. Win, win.

Geometrie Gravel Comfort, která kombinuje vše, co víme o výrobě skvěle jezdících terénních kol, je tajnou ingrediencí, díky níž je jízda na naší řadě určené pro šotolinu tak skvělá. Kolo je dostatečně hbité na to, abyste si to mohli rozdat v terénu, dostatečně stabilní pro jisté sjezdy a pohodlné na dlouhé cesty.

S naším pokročilým procesem Twin Mold používáme pro naše karbonové rámy C:62®, C:68® a C:68X® dvě přesně vyrobené formy. První forma zajišťuje přesné položení. Druhá, vnitřní forma udržuje každé vlákno přesně tam, kde má být, zatímco se rám vytvrzuje. Výsledkem je výrazně lehčí a pevnější rám s hustotou vláken přizpůsobenou předpokládanému zatížení v konkrétních bodech.
