Here at CUBE we love a challenge, so building a race bike that's as aero as possible within UCI rules is exactly the kind of thing that we relish. And here's the result: the Litening AERO frame. Built with our premium C:68X® carbon material and designed with extensive use of Computer Fluid Dynamics and real-world wind tunnel testing, it's now lighter and faster than ever. Around 150g lighter than before for frame and fork, to be precise. And reduced drag by up to 6 watts. Those are differences you can see in your results. With a CUBE IC Aero Cockpit, redesigned aero seatpost, clearance for up to 34mm tyres, a future-proof UDH rear end and full compatibility with all CUBE one-piece cockpits, it's got everything you need to race, faster.

Every second matters, whether you're racing to win or just chasing a new personal best. And that's exactly what we had in mind when we designed the Litening AERO C:68X Race – a UCI-compliant race bike built around a frame and fork that's now 150g lighter and up to 6 watts faster than before. We fitted a Shimano Ultegra crankset with a built-in 4iiii dual-sided power meter, so you can monitor your performance. The Newmen Streem Allround 49/54 wheels are shod with 28mm Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres. Shimano's Ultegra Di2 2x12 gears are wide-ranging and incredibly reliable. And matching Ultegra hydraulic disc brakes allow you to go even faster, because you can brake later. More seconds clawed back. Closer to that podium...

Our flex seatpost helps take some of the buzz and vibration out of the road surface, making it 10% more comfortable than a regular seatpost – and it also features an aero profile, for the best possible performance.

Combining all our expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means we can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.

Full Internal Cable Routing takes the clutter of external cables and consigns it to the past. We started from scratch, designing frame and handlebars to accept gear and brake cables internally so that nothing interrupts the bike's clean lines. It's neater, it's more aero, it protects cables from damage and it reduces maintenance. All the wins.

In the rough and tumble of cyclocross racing, every detail matters. Our Semi Integrated Seat Post Clamp complements the frame's sleek lines to the point where you barely notice it's there. So it looks great, but it's also less likely to snag when you shoulder your bike for the running sections. Details, see?

Developed with a combination of wind tunnel testing, Computer Fluid Dynamics and feedback from athletes, it's our way of ensuring you can get the best possible performance out of you and your bike. Stable when you need it, agile when it counts and above all very, very fast.

We know that you want to keep track of your performance stats. It's important, which is why we designed a neat, unobtrusive mount for your bike computer. Now you can record and access data wherever you ride, safe in the knowledge that your device is securely mounted and out of harm's way.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
