Our goal is to improve performance and efficiency, minimise the risk of injury and maximise riding comfort – to make cycling even more enjoyable!

CUBE MOLLE-SYSTEM

Our MOLLE system allows you to individually and flexibly expand your backpack with the CUBE GEAR BAGS. The strap with integrated hook-and-loop fastener is threaded through the MOLLE openings and securely closed, ensuring that accessory or extension bags are firmly attached to the backpack. Depending on your needs, the pack volume can be increased by 1, 2, or even 4 liters – perfect for carrying extra gear, snacks, or tools. Thanks to the robust construction, the bags stay securely in place on the backpack, even during demanding trail rides, without shifting.

TIPS & TRICKS

BACKPACK

When packing a cycling backpack, proper weight distribution is crucial for stability and comfort. Heavy items like water bottles or tools should be placed close to your back and as low as possible in the backpack. Medium-weight items like clothing or snacks go around them in the middle. Light items like a rain jacket, maps, or your phone should be placed on top or in external pockets for easy access. This way, the backpack sits stable, the weight is well-balanced, and longer rides become much more comfortable.

HIP BAG

Heavy items like a hydration bladder belong in the main compartment close to your body. Medium-weight items such as bars, a spare tube, or a power bank should be packed next to them in the middle. Light items like keys, your phone, or tissues go in the front or top compartments for quick access.

ADJUSTING YOUR BIKE BACKPACK CORRECTLY

step by step - A well-adjusted bike backpack ensures greater comfort, better load distribution, and prevents pain during longer rides. The hip belt, shoulder straps, and chest strap are crucial here.

Loosen all straps on the carrying system Before putting on the backpack, loosen all straps—shoulder, hip, and chest straps. This will allow you to put it on comfortably and then adjust it step by step to suit your individual needs without any straps being too tight or pinching you.

The hip belt carries most of the weight (up to 70%). Position it centrally over the iliac crest, just above the hip bone. Tighten the belt, but not so much that it cuts into your skin. The backpack should now sit securely on your hips and noticeably reduce the weight.

Adjust the shoulder straps Now pull the shoulder straps until the backpack fits snugly against your back. Make sure that the straps are not too tight—there should still be some freedom of movement between your shoulders and the straps. The padding should lie evenly without creating any gaps.

Fasten the chest strap The chest strap connects the shoulder straps and stabilizes the backpack when you move. Adjust it to chest height so that it does not restrict your breathing. Tighten it slightly—enough to prevent the shoulder straps from slipping, but not so tightly that it puts pressure on your chest or lungs.
