We call this frame Easy Entry because that's exactly what it does, but there's more to the Reaction Hybrid than just an elegantly practical design. With the 600 Wh PowerTube battery neatly concealed and the Bosch CX drive housed securely, its svelte lines disguise lots of clever features. It's PowerMore-ready, making it easy to add up to 250 Wh of extra battery capacity. The integrated seat clamp and cable routing complement the clean aesthetic, whilst a UDH gear hanger makes it as future-proof as possible. There's a built-in chainguide mount too, and it's also ready to accept ACID mudguards. And there are sizes to cater for most riders. We've thought of everything, so you can just ride.

The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.

Accessories like a kickstand, fenders and luggage carrier can really extend the versatility of your CUBE bike. We designed mounting points that integrate so neatly with each frame, you'll barely notice they're there – but they also provide a simple, strong and secure attachment for any future upgrades.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important – because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much...

In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with our Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with our Hybrid models we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.

A bicycle frame is an amazing piece of engineering. And now, with our Smooth Welding technology, we're able to give it the elegant appearance it thoroughly deserves. With no visible weld beads, one tube appears to flow seamlessly into the next.

No-one wants an oily or dirty chain anywhere near their clothes. So, since chains can get oily and dirty over time, we developed the Direct Mount chainguard. It's neat, unobtrusive and helps keep your clothes away from moving parts so that you arrive at your destination clean and fresh.

We fitted an easily adjustable air suspension fork with 120mm of travel (100mm for small frame sizes and for all Easy Entry models), because it adds comfort and control. We swapped the standard seatpost for a remote dropper post, because you'd be amazed how much more confidence that buys on bumpier trails. Shimano's XT 1x12 gears offer a huge range and unrivalled reliability, while Schwalbe's grippy 2.6in tyres and strong, progressive Shimano hydraulic disc brakes ensure you can stop on a dime.
