Colour. It helps us to make sense of the world around us. But, more than that, it's also something that can trigger an emotive response. It can invoke memories. It can inspire. And that's why it matters. At CUBE we have an entire team devoted to conceptualising and designing the colour schemes for our bikes. The frame is their canvas and their palette is... well, pretty much limitless. From plain colours to flip paints that change their tone and hue according to the angle of the light; from matt to gloss and a combination of both; from subtle fades to bold blocks and stripes... it's all about showing your bike off at its best.
And using different colours is just part of it. To take things to the next level, our design team also creates custom processes to transform our frames into visual masterpieces that are as individual as you are. Designing and creating unique artworks, from scratch. And then coming up with ways to transfer these visual feasts onto CUBE bikes, one frame at a time. It's slow and painstaking work. But the results are stunning. And each one is a genuine one-off.
Every frame demands its own approach. For example, with a carbon race bike we may choose to make a feature of the carbon weave pattern. Or, if we're working with multiple colours, our design team might use separate layers to make a virtue of the shift from one colour to the next. Each choice is a deliberate one, emphasising the shape of the tubes or the bike's intended purpose.
But whatever the colour and whatever the process used to apply it, it's there to help you create more memories.

Our unique Grid colour scheme highlights precision and technical expertise. With an irregular line-based grid that is unique to each individual frame, it's a pattern that's at once dynamic and inspiring. You can almost feel the energy – a visual metaphor for the rider's heartbeat, accelerating with every pedal stroke.
ACTIONTEAM
Action is as action does. With its vibrant blue gradient, dynamic grid pattern, a little added sparkle from fine glitter particles and the contrast of white graphics and a white fork, the Actionteam colour scheme is perfectly in keeping with the clean, bold and refined aesthetics of your CUBE frame.

The Grit family of paint finishes captures the infinite variety of the natural world. Encompassing a range of paint colours speckled onto a dark or bold background, our aim was to evoke randomness in a way that also creates a harmonious, balanced whole. And because each one is individual, you know you're riding a genuine one-off.

Our Criss Cross colour scheme is a graphic representation of the possibilities of riding almost anywhere, symbolising both the road less travelled and the rider willing to take it on. Whether you interpet the lines as possible paths, or contour lines, or simply a bold pattern in their own right, it's all about rugged individuality.

MYSTERY IN MOTION
Mystery has its own allure and holds its own promise... like early morning mist, rising slowly to reveal what the day has in store. Our Fume colour scheme captures this spirit by fusing rich, muted tones into an elegant and understated paint finish that doesn't need to shout in order to make a strong impression.
MATRIX
MINIMALISM. MAXIMIZED.
There are times when less is definitely more. When the riding speaks for itself. And it's for those times that we created our Matrix colour scheme: monochromatic. Minimalist. Understated. Because when you reduce the fusion of human and machine to its essence, what really matters is the performance of you and your bike, together. A matrix of muscle and metal and carbon and pure, raw speed.
TEAMLINE
DESIGNED TO RACE
You can tell a CUBE race bike by the speed at which it's being ridden. And also, often, by the fact that it's likely to be wearing Teamline colours. With a gloss white base and a blue rear end plus a red to orange gradient at the front, it's a dynamic and distinctive livery that hints at the uncompromising performance of the bike beneath:
