Toen we begonnen met het ontwerpen van de HERON wilden we niet zomaar een racefietshelm maken, maar wilden we de ultieme racefietshelm maken! Als je denkt dat ærodynamica altijd gepaard gaat met een oververhit hoofd en een stijve nek, dan zit je er helemaal naast. Na intensief testen in de windtunnel, creëerden we een ontwerp dat door middel van diepe ventilatiekanalen koele lucht over het hele hoofd geleid, zónder er daarbij lomp of grof uit te zien. En daarbij met gemak onder de 250 gram blijft, wat superlicht is voor een æro-helm. Aerodynamiek, een laag gewicht, sublieme ventilatie, het MIPS-protectiesysteem en een perfecte pasvorm - wat wil je nog meer?

MIPS is a low friction layer between the helmet and the head that allows a sliding movement of 10-15mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact forces.
