We know from working with racers that they want a frame that's stiff, responsive and, above all, light. So these are exactly the qualities we built into our Phenix 240 C:62's lightweight carbon frame, but scaled down perfectly to fit younger riders. Every single detail of the frame design is aimed at reducing weight without sacrificing strength or stiffness. A tapered head tube, full carbon fork and 12mm thru-axles front and rear ensure precise steering and efficient power transfer. We kept the seatstays narrow for a comfortable ride, and cables are routed internally to match the frame's sleek looks. It's light, it's fast, and it's fun!

A really lightweight bike won't win races on its own. But it's a good starting point – and a lighter bike is more fun to ride, too. For the junior whippet in your family, the Phenix 240 C:62 SLX ticks all the right boxes. Its lightweight carbon frame and fork – perfectly proportioned for smaller riders – are just the beginning. We chose light, tough Newmen Evolution X.A.25 wheels shod with Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.1in tyres for quick acceleration. Powered them with Sram NX Eagle 1x11 gears. And added child-proportioned handlebars, grips and brake levers – connected to powerful Magura MT4 hydraulic discs – for perfect race day control, whatever the conditions. All that's left is to pedal... and win!

Uhlík nemusí být jako uhlík. U našeho karbonu C:62® jsme zvýšili obsah vláken s vysokým modulem pružnosti a výsledný materiál jsme pak vyztužili nanočásticemi zapracovanými do spojovací pryskyřice. To vše je elegantní způsob, jak vytvořit extrémně pevný, lehký a odolný materiál.

Kabely spojují ovládací prvky na řídítkách s důležitými součástkami, jako jsou převody a brzdy, ale není nutné, aby vám překážely. Díky vnitřnímu vedení kabelů jsme omezili nepořádek a údržbu tím, že vedeme kabely skrz rám, čímž jsme je ochránili před znečištěním prachem a vodou – nebo poškozením odřením – a také jsme zlepšili vzhled vašeho kola.

Pro jízdu v terénu potřebujete kolo, které rychle reaguje, ale zároveň je stabilní a bezpečné. A právě zde přichází na řadu geometrie Agile Ride. Nabízí ideální kombinaci přesnosti řízení na požádání, hbitosti při stoupání a stability při sjezdu a je ideální pro každého jezdce, který si cení času stráveného na trailu. S naším pokročilým procesem Twin Mold používáme pro naše karbonové rámy C:62®, C:68® a C:68X® dvě přesně vyrobené formy. První forma zajišťuje přesné položení. Druhá, vnitřní forma udržuje každé vlákno přesně tam, kde má být, zatímco se rám vytvrzuje. Výsledkem je výrazně lehčí a pevnější rám s hustotou vláken přizpůsobenou předpokládanému zatížení v konkrétních bodech.
