We built the Attain's 6061 semi-aero aluminium chassis with both comfort and performance in mind. A teardrop-profile down tube helps the frame slice through the air and Internal Cable Routing reduces clutter, while Smooth Welding gives tube joints a premium, almost organic appearance. The tapered steerer and thru-axles front and rear ensure pinpoint precision accuracy and efficient power transfer. Slender seatstays and a full carbon fork help reduce road shock and vibration for significantly improved rider comfort, and there's room for tyres up to 33mm. And, with a neatly integrated seatpost clamp and mounting points under the top tube, we like to think we've thought of everything... so you can just ride.

You can ride faster if you can stop faster, too. It's the reason that, for the Attain SLX, we chose Shimano's proven 105 hydraulic disc brakes, and matched them with the fast acceleration and superb grip of Continental's 32mm Grand Prix tubeless-ready tyres on Newmen Performance R.32 wheels – so you can brake later and stay in full control. Combined with the slick reliability of Shimano's iconic 105 2x12 gears, the pace of a semi-aero frame and the comfort of a full carbon fork, it makes for a bike that's as suited to a fast club run as it is to a longer weekend ride.

Řadicí a brzdová lanka se musí dostat z řídítek do rámu – ale co kdyby nebylo nutné mít otvory v blízkosti trubky hlavice? Vymysleli jsme konstrukci, která vede kabely do rámu přes sadu hlavice, čímž zachovává kompletní vnitřní vedení kabelů, ale je ještě úhlednější a méně rušivé.

Naše integrovaná objímka sedlovky je součástí naší snahy o promyšlené detaily, abyste mohli sklízet ovoce. Její minimalistický design odpovídá střídmé estetice rámu. A to je samozřejmě důležité – protože proč byste nechtěli, aby vaše kolo vypadalo skvěle? A navíc ušetříte pár gramů. A to je stejně důležité...

Hladké svařování není snadné, ale to věci, které za něco stojí, obvykle nejsou. Má dvě výhody. Za prvé, a to je nejzřejmější, vypadá to skvěle: jedna trubka jako by téměř přecházela do druhé. Za druhé, a to je přinejmenším stejně důležité, pomáhá minimalizovat špičkové zatížení svařovaných oblastí, což zvyšuje pevnost a odolnost rámu.

Hliníkový rám CUBE Aluminium Superlite začíná tepelně zpracovaným hliníkem 6061, který má vlastnosti důležité pro rám jízdního kola – vysokou odolnost proti únavě, dobrou tuhost, nízkou hmotnost a vynikající pevnost. Poté z něj vyrobíme dvojitě zakroucené trubky, abychom snížili jejich hmotnost, aniž bychom obětovali její pevnost. A výsledek? Mimořádně lehké, pevné a odolné rámy.
