Workshop recall – Longtail Hybrid – All models from 2023 to 2025

Modification required to the kickstand adapter using replacement part

Dear CUBE customer,

On the basis of in-house testing and market feedback regarding the occurrence of cracks on the frame near the kickstand, we have modified the kickstand assembly and will provide the modified adapter as a replacement part at no cost for all Longtail Hybrids on the market.

To ensure the frame warranty remains valid, the adapter set must be replaced without delay.

Continued use of the Longtail Hybrid without installing the modified kickstand adapter can result in cracks appearing in the frame around the kickstand mount and affect the safe parking of the bicycle using the main kickstand.

The following Longtail Hybrid, Longtail Hybrid Sport and Longtail Hybrid Family models from model years 2023–2025 are affected:

Model year 2023: #689714, #689724, #689754, #689764.
Model year 2024: #789710, #789720, #789730, #789740, #789750, #789760, #789780.
Model year 2025: #822200, #822210, #822400, #822410.

Please take your bicycle to your CUBE dealer without delay to have the adapter set replaced. We ask for your understanding that we cannot handle replacements ourselves or send out adapter sets directly.
