Here at CUBE we love a challenge, so building a race bike that's as aero as possible within UCI rules is exactly the kind of thing that we relish. And here's the result: the Litening AERO frame. Built with our premium C:68X® carbon material and designed with extensive use of Computer Fluid Dynamics and real-world wind tunnel testing, it's now lighter and faster than ever. Around 150g lighter than before for frame and fork, to be precise. And reduced drag by up to 6 watts. Those are differences you can see in your results. With a CUBE IC Aero Max Cockpit, redesigned aero seatpost, clearance for up to 34mm tyres, a future-proof UDH rear end and full compatibility with all CUBE one-piece cockpits, it's got everything you need to race, faster.

You've put in the miles, honed your training to perfection, and now it's time to race. The Litening AERO C:68X SLT is the bike you'll need. Built around our even lighter and more efficient C:68X® carbon aero chassis, it features Shimano's Dura-Ace Di2 2x12 gears paired to a Dura-Ace chainset with 4iiii power meter, for precise gear changes literally at your fingertips. A Newmen Streem Aero/Sprint 60/66 Vonoa wheelset with a lower profile up front gives predictable handling combined with aero performance, even in windy conditions. Tubeless-ready 28mm Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres serve up rapid acceleration with the grip that you need. Powerful, progressive Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 hydraulic disc brakes mean you can brake later, to maintain your speed for longer. And the bike's low overall weight and day-long comfort help ensure you'll perform at your peak, hour after hour.

Our flex seatpost helps take some of the buzz and vibration out of the road surface, making it 10% more comfortable than a regular seatpost – and it also features an aero profile, for the best possible performance.

Combining all our expertise from carbon frame building into the ultimate material, C:68X® carbon uses the optimum blend of fibre and nano particle-infused resin. Precision Advanced Twin Mold manufacturing means we can avoid bonded sleeves or inserts, too. It's the new benchmark for light, stiff and strong.

Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. And, of course, that's important – because why wouldn't you want your bike to look great? But it also saves a few grammes too. And that matters just as much...

Full Internal Cable Routing takes the clutter of external cables and consigns it to the past. We started from scratch, designing frame and handlebars to accept gear and brake cables internally so that nothing interrupts the bike's clean lines. It's neater, it's more aero, it protects cables from damage and it reduces maintenance. All the wins.

Air sucks, and that's why Aero Optimized Geometry matters. Developed with a combination of wind tunnel testing, Computer Fluid Dynamics and feedback from athletes, it's our way of ensuring you can get the best possible performance out of you and your bike. We know that you want to keep track of your performance stats. It's important, which is why we designed a neat, unobtrusive mount for your bike computer. Now you can record and access data wherever you ride, safe in the knowledge that your device is securely mounted and out of harm's way.

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
