You'll notice that the Aim's High Performance Aluminium frame features almost organic lines, carefully crafted tube profiles and joints that are so smooth, one tube practically flows into the next. None of that is an accident – we believe a frame that functions brilliantly should also have an elegant form. To that end, we routed cables internally – including provision for a dropper seatpost. Mounting points include compatibility with our Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 and a flat mount kickstand, while a tapered head tube ensures confidence-inspiring handling and the replaceable gear hanger means it's easy to get up and running again in the event of a knock to the derailleur. Whether you're heading out on an off-road adventure at the weekend or tackling the weekday commute – or, perhaps, both – the Aim ONE FE has got it covered. Fully Equipped means what it says – lights, mudguards, Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1 and kickstand are all included. There's a Suntour suspension fork with 100mm of travel to take care of rough roads and bumpy tracks alike, backed up with 2.25in tyres and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes. And, with the wide range and easy shifting of Shimano's 1x9 Cues gears, the right ratio for any scenario is right there at your fingertips.

There's aluminium, and then there's CUBE Aluminium Lite. This heat-treated 6061 aluminium is stiff, fatigue-resistant and, because of its natural corrosion resistance, a great material from which to make lightweight tube sets – and bicycle frames. And it does all this without adding unnecessary weight, so you can get the best enjoyment out of your CUBE.

A bicycle is such a versatile tool. That's why many riders add accessories like a luggage carrier, mudguards, kickstand and lights. But with our Fully Equipped range you don't have to, because we've already taken care of all of that. With carefully selected accessories that match and integrate with each bike, you're all set for any journey from the weekday commute to a longer tour.

The right bike should fit you perfectly. That's why we created Size Split. For shorter riders, the smaller 27.5in wheel standard allows us to build frames that fit well while remaining agile and sure-footed. And, for taller riders, we built a range of sizes around the fast-rolling 29er wheel standard. Whichever one you choose, you can be sure of a fit that makes your bike feel as though it was built just for you.

A kickstand can be useful, no two ways about it. But if it's going to do its job properly, it needs a secure mount. That's why we put as much effort into designing the Kickstand Mount for our frames as we do for any other feature. Neat, unobtrusive but exceptionally strong and stable, it's the best way to help keep your CUBE bike upright when you're not riding it.

Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes, but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame, keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination – or damage from abrasion – as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.

Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.
