Borrowing heavily from our experience building light, fast and tough gravel bikes, the Nulane Hybrid C:62's carbon frame's organic curves and clean looks disguise serious intent. There's clearance for tyres up to 50mm, even with mudguards fitted. We added luggage carrier mounting points both for the rear and on the full carbon fork, so you can tackle the weekday commute or a longer tour easily, and X-Connect makes fitting a lighting system easy. The Bosch drive system's control unit is incorporated into the top tube – with a mini handlebar remote – and you can add a 250Wh PowerMore booster battery to the frame for extended range. And, on the technical side, the hidden seat clamp, Direct Mount chain guide, flat mount kickstand interface, Boost rear end and UDH compatibility make this a future-proof bike for all reasons.

The Nulane Hybrid C:62 Race's elegant C:62® carbon frame will grab your attention, but it's the effortless functionality that'll win you over. The smooth, light Bosch SX motor and 400Wh battery delivers up to 60Nm of pedal assistance via Shimano's wide-ranging Cues 1x11 gears – it's everything you need to get you to your destination swiftly and in great shape. Grippy Schwalbe 45mm tyres on a light, strong Newmen Performance Gravel 25 wheelset work with powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes to help keep you safe in all weathers. And we included a full set of luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points plus a pre-installed X-Connect cable, for a quick and easy upgrade to full weekday commuter or weekend tourer. City slicker or country explorer, it's entirely up to you.

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62® carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 250Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.

It's the little details that make the difference. With the option to easily fit full length mudguards, a luggage rack and kickstand you can make your bike that little bit more versatile and easier to live with. Wet roads, stuff to carry or nowhere to lean your bike up when you arrive? No problem – we've got it covered.

A wider hub makes a stiffer wheel, and a stiffer wheel means better handling. That's the thinking behind the Boost 148 rear hub standard, which allows wider flange spacing for better wheel performance without impacting on shifting accuracy or drivetrain efficiency. Simply put, you can go faster and harder with better handling and stronger wheels.

For gravel epics – or races – into the back country and beyond, our Gravel Endurance Geometry is designed with you in mind. With a ride position optimised for long days in the saddle and frame angles and dimensions geared towards the perfect balance of agility and stability, it's all you need for off-road adventure.

Flexibility is important for a bike that's going to slot into your life. That's why, for our Semi Integrated Carrier Mount, we designed a system that's unobtrusive when you don't need it and really simple to use when you do. By adding our Semi-Integrated Carrier your CUBE can take on the shopping, your commute, or take you further afield at the weekend...

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.

X-Connect is the simple way to attach a compatible ACID light to your CUBE bike. With a connector built into the headset and the wiring hidden in the frame, all that's left to do is attach the light, plug it in... and off you go. See and be seen, the easy way.
