Why should grown-ups have all the fun? The Reaction Hybrid Rookie's Bosch Performance motor and 540Wh battery give younger riders the power and confidence they need to boost confidence – as well as keep up on family rides. The frame and contact points are carefully proportioned to suit smaller riders, including our clever Variable Grip System. You'll find wide and grippy Schwalbe 2.6in tyres on durable ACID SLX30 wheels. Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, for safe slowing and stopping in any weather. And wide-ranging, easy-to-use Shimano Cues 11-speed gears, to make light work of any route. It's the complete package.

The Fully Integrated Battery system tucks the power of Bosch's battery out of sight, safely inside the confines of your bike's downtube. Hidden beneath a splash and dust-proof cover and secured with a lock to prevent theft, it allows us to design beautiful e-bike frames that are as brilliantly functional as they are good to look at.

Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.

In many ways the battery is the heart of an e-bike. That's why, with our Modular Battery System, we've made a setup that's easy to use. You can charge the battery on or off the bike, and we've made room for even high capacity batteries. You'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

For off-road riding you need a bike that responds quickly, but also feels stable and secure. That's where Agile Ride Geometry comes in. Offering an ideal blend of on-demand steering precision, climbing agility and descending stability, it's perfect for every rider who values their time on the trail. If you're a mountain biker, you'll instantly feel at home...

Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.

CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
