If we can drag your attention away from the admittedly stunning genesisfibre'n'black paint finish – with its deep gloss and constantly shifting green hues – for a moment, we'd like to point out that the Litening AIR C:68X frame has some other qualities that are quite significant. For starters, there's the premium C:68X® carbon construction, which uses our highest quality carbon composite to create a chassis that's as light and aero-enhanced as we can make it, within UCI rules. Oh, and the fact that it weighs as little as 799g for a medium frame... that helps save a watt or two, as well. But the colour? Yeah, we're pretty stoked on that, too. The shifting hues and subtle fibrous pattern just highlight how quick it is, because you can never quite pin down which colour you're looking at, at any given moment. Blink, and you'll miss it...

A race bike should, of course, be as light as possible. Lower weight is better for climbing, sprinting and, importantly, just generally going faster. Which is, after all, what it's all about. So the Litening AIR C:68X frameset takes everything we learned from working with pro team riders, and condenses it into an aero-enhanced frame that's also incredibly light and efficient. At around 799g for a mid-sized frame it's seriously light, but it's also comfortable for long days in the saddle. Supplied complete with IC Aero Cockpit, seatpost and a Newmen Streem Allround 49/54 wheelset, you'll be able to see the difference in your results.

Our Integrated Seatpost Clamp is all part of our quest to sweat the details, so that you can reap the rewards. Its minimalist design suits the frame's pared-back aesthetic. Full Internal Cable Routing takes the clutter of external cables and consigns it to the past. We started from scratch, designing frame and handlebars to accept gear and brake cables internally so that nothing interrupts the bike's clean lines. It's neater, it's more aero, it protects cables from damage and it reduces maintenance. All the wins.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
