Look, we'll be the first to admit we're pleased with the Stereo C:62's looks. It's pretty sleek, right? The C:62® carbon frame's lines are certainly neat. But dig a little deeper, and it's also about practicality and function. So the straight seat tube, for example, allows for a longer dropper post with deeper insertion. The threaded bottom bracket features a secure, three-bolt ISCG05 chain guide mount. The UDH dropout is tough and future-proof. There's a new and improved down tube storage system. An angle-adjust headset with Internal Cable Routing, but also head tube ports for optional semi-internal routing. And a modular top tube mount for your Garmin/Wahoo/X-Mount device. Trail-ready, all of it.

We can't deny there's some satisfaction in picking kit for a bike like the Stereo C:62 SLT. A frame this good deserves the best, and that's what we gave it. We kicked off with a Fox 36 Float Factory Grip X2 fork, then fitted a matching Float X Factory shock – so you've got 150mm front and 145mm rear of the smoothest, best controlled suspension travel out there. A Race Face Era crank delivers your power via Shimano's peerless XTR Di2 1x12 gears to a Newmen Phase 30 wheelset shod with Schwalbe Romy 2.4in tyres, which translates to epic grip and stunning acceleration. Keeping that all in check is the job of Shimano's powerful, progressive XTR hydraulic disc brakes. And details like a remote dropper post and Race Face cockpit with comfortable Era handlebar make sure you're always in control. It's trail-ready perfection.

How do you like your cables? Every CUBE Stereo is supplied with Internal Cable Routing because it's neat and unobtrusive, but you can choose to run the cables through the ports on the side of the frame instead for a Semi-Internal setup, if that's more your thing.

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62® carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.

When you're harnessing gravity, the trail is challenging and every second counts, the geometry of your CUBE is a critical component. That's why our adjustable headset allows you to tweak head angle, so you can set your bike up just the way you like it. A little slacker for more stability, or a little steeper for better agility. The choice is yours...

One standard for all: gear hanger replacement made easy thanks to the innovative Universal Derailleur Hanger. With a design that includes some room for pivoting to help prevent chain jams, it improves shifting performance and works with all drivetrains. Best of all, it's a standard part that is available anywhere.

Our Downtube Storage provides an ingenious way of carrying your posessions in a lockable, integrated and secure compartment. With a rain-proof cover and easy access, it's the ideal way to carry anything from a waterproof jacket to some snacks, a pair of gloves... whatever you need.

With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
