We take just as much care with our kids' bikes as we do with any other, which is why the Acid 260 Disc FE features the same mechanically formed, double-butted, heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes as our adult range. Combined with our Agile Ride Geometry, it makes for a frame that'll allow your child's skills to develop as their confidence grows. A full range of accessories including mudguards, lighting set and kickstand is included as standard. And there's a replaceable gear hanger, too, so that a crash needn't be the end of the world.

We know how versatile a mountain bike is, so for the Acid 260 Disc FE we took the extra step of kitting it out with a lighting set, kickstand and clip-on mudguards. With its lightweight aluminium frame and carefully selected components – including suspension fork and disc brakes – it's ready for anything your adventurous young rider might take on.

For the Acid 260 Disc FE we took our proven junior mountain bike, complete with Suntour suspension fork and powerful disc brakes, and added a full range of accessories – including clip-on mudguards, kickstand and lighting set – as standard to make it even better. With 16 wide-ranging Shimano gears and a tough, lightweight frame, it's ready for anything.
