All good things come to an end
After ten successful years, our partnership with Team Intermarché–Wanty has reached the end of the road. Our journey together began in 2015, when the team was still competing under a Pro-Continental licence. It was an easy collaboration – right from the start, it just worked, and we've enjoyed a close working relationship that evolved continuously.
The proof is in the results. In 2016 we celebrated our first major victory together at the Amstel Gold Race, which was followed by the team’s first participation in the Tour de France just a year later in 2017 – a significant milestone both for the team and for us.
In the years that followed, several stage wins at Grand Tours showcased both the team’s sporting progress and the technical performance of our bikes. In 2021 the team stepped up to compete in the World Tour, continuing our shared success story.
And of course, no record of the team's successes would be complete without a mention of Biniam Girmay's outstanding performance in the 2024 Tour de France, winning both the Green Jersey and three individual stages.
Over the years, many riders discovered their form and achieved significant success with the team on our bikes, including Enrico Gasparotto, Alexander Kristoff, Taco van der Hoorn, Rui Costa and Louis Meintjes. The inclusion of German riders also led to Georg Zimmermann winning the 2025 German National Championship for the team.
We were committed to continuing our support for the team into the future. However, Team Intermarche-Wanty has decided to merge its operations with Team Lotto. Lotto has ongoing sponsorship agreements, which means that any similar agreements with Intermarche-Wanty will come to an end. That, unfortunately, includes us.
We're proud to have made a major contribution to a decade of successful and genuine partnership. We would like to thank the entire team, the riders and all the staff for their trust, professionalism, and the time we shared together.
As one story ends, another will begin – which is why we're already looking ahead to the future. We look forward to returning to the peloton in due course, to start another new chapter in cycle sport.
