A lighter bike is one that's better to ride. That's the reason for the Nature's double-butted aluminium tubes, which reduce weight without sacrificing strength or durability. Clearance for tyres up to 50mm wide allows for a more comfortable ride and a tapered head tube ensures precise steering. Sleek luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points and Smooth Welding frame joints complement the frame's good looks and make it easy to upgrade to suit your needs. Built with comfort and reliability in mind, we equipped it with a Suntour suspension fork to help take the edge off even the roughest of road surfaces. Shimano's easy-to-use Essa 1x8 gear system has the range to make light work of any route. And powerful all-weather hydraulic disc brakes give you the reassurance of safe stopping in any conditions. You never quite know where the road less travelled will lead you. It could be smooth, or gravel, or dusty and full of potholes. That's what our Trekking Cross Geometry is designed to handle: any road, in any condition, any time. With plenty of room for grippy, wide tyres and handling that's both nimble and safe, you're in good hands wherever you're headed.

At CUBE we believe even a functional bike should be attractive. The carrier and mudguard mounting points for our Nature series are designed specifically to provide a strong, secure anchor point for these useful accessories. But they're also unobtrusive and elegant, so your bike still looks great.

Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.

Cables for your gears and brakes are essential, but you don't necessarily want to see them all the time. Our semi internal cable routing takes gear and brake cables through the down tube for a cleaner appearance, smoother shifts and reduced maintenance. So your CUBE bike looks good and continues to function as it should, and you just concentrate on enjoying the ride.
