A comfortable Suntour suspension fork, easy to use - even with small children’s hands - 3x7 gearing with Revo twist shifters and powerful V-brakes which even include a special power modulator on the front to avoid excessive braking. The CUBE 240 Allroad also features a permanent lighting system with a hub generator, a high-quality Basta Spot front light and a seat stay mounted Spanninga rear light, to see and be seen even when it's dark. For added weather protection the bike comes with snap-on mudguards. A truly dynamic all-inclusive bike.
6061 aluminium alloy requires a heat treatment for the finished product. It is a stiff, very corrosion resistant, fatigue resistant,high-elongation material suitable for light tubesets with high stiffness.
On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint. We use this surface treatment technology mainly to save weight.
To protect our high-end aluminium frames from damage, they are built with the CUBE Frame Save System replaceable derailleur hanger. The mounting thread is in the hanger and not in the frame as usual. In case of a crash, this hanger can be easily and quickly replaced by a new one.
