Frame: The Sting Hybrid brings the striking, dynamic design of the Stereo Hybrid series to the WLS range. The Tuned Drive Position (TDP) allowed us to make the chainstays shorter. Combined with our widely admired Efficient Trail Control (ETC) dynamics, semi-integrated battery and Agile Trail Geometry (ATG), we've created an incredibly compact chassis with fantastic handling. And, since you'll now be cornering faster than ever, we've also selected wider 148mm Boost hubs - giving greater wheel rigidity and even better reliability. Gear cables are routed internally - hidden, tidied away and protected in a way that highlights the frame's clean lines.
Adaptable X12 Hanger
We optimized our new dropout design based on the Syntace X12 through-axle system, enlarging the area of the frame where the hanger is mounted. We can now fit the longer Direct Mount hangers. Shifting precision and stiffness is therefore improved. With the new design it's also possible to swap the whole contact area of the axle with the hanger should the system be worn out.
