It‘s 5.30 am on a Wednesday morning and just starting to get light outside. I jump on the bike and head around the corner to meet the guys. Together, we traverse mist-covered fields and forest. I‘m glad to be wearing my storm jacket – it keeps me comfortably cosy and dry in the cold morning drizzle. Eventually we emerge from the forest and reach the look-out point. We take in the sunrise and tuck in to our packed breakfast. The first rays of sun push through the clouds and the day begins to warm up. Time to go, the office is waiting! I quickly shake dry my backpack and stow it away in my jersey pocket with ease thanks to the mini pack size. The summer working day can begin.
