POWER UP
HAMMER DOWN

We set out to make a lighter, more capable all-mountain e-mtb – and the AMS Hybrid 177 C:62 frame is the heart of it. Built from our C:62® carbon and featuring Bosch's BDU38YY motor mount for compatibility with both SX and CX motors, it features a built-in 600Wh PowerTube battery. We've tweaked the geometry and kinematics to suit a bike built to take on rowdy, technical trails at high speed. Mullet wheels and 170mm travel front and rear deliver epic handling, and an angle-adjustable headset means you can tweak the geometry to suit your own preference. Internal Cable Routing complements the frame's clean aesthetic and, of course, there's a UDH gear hanger and Direct Mount chain guard. Bring it on!

This is what fun looks like. The AMS Hybrid 177 C:62 TM 600X combines a lightweight C:62® carbon chassis and 170mm Fox suspension components with Bosch's CX motor and 600Wh battery. The result? An Alp-taming monster that'll free you from the tyranny of the lift queue. Descend, rinse, repeat!

A bike built to take on the rowdiest mountain trails and come out on top needs components to match. So, for the AMS Hybrid 177 C:62 TM 600X, we began by selecting Fox's 38 Float Performance fork and matched it with a Float X2 Performance shock. Then we shod a pair of Newmen Beskar 30 wheels with Continental Argotal and Kryptotal 2.4in tyres, and added a set of Sram's powerful Maven Silver hydraulic disc brakes. There's a Kiox 400C controller to keep you on top of the Bosch CX drive and 600Wh battery's performance. And an ACID carbon crank pairs with Sram's Transmission 90 1x12 gears to get your power to the trail. It's ready. Are you?

Not all carbon is created equal. With our C:62® carbon we increased the high modulus fibre content, then we reinforced the resulting material with nanoparticles incorporated into the bonding resin. Which is all just a fancy way of saying it's extremely strong, light and durable.
Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 250Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.
When you're harnessing gravity, the trail is challenging and every second counts, the geometry of your CUBE is a critical component. That's why our adjustable headset allows you to tweak head angle, so you can set your bike up just the way you like it. A little slacker for more stability, or a little steeper for better agility. The choice is yours...
Agile Trail Geometry is a development of our popular and well received Agile Ride Geometry, with a focus on riders who enjoy pushing their limits on the trails. By lowering standover height and allowing more room for the rider to move around over the bike, we've created a setup that rewards adventurous line choices. Because, after all, it's all about having fun.
With our Advanced Twin Mold process we use two precisely manufactured forms for our C:62®, C:68® and C:68X® carbon frames. The first form is to ensure an accurate layup. The second, inner form keeps every individual fibre precisely where it needs to be while the frame cures. The result is a significantly lighter, stronger frame, with fibre density tailored to anticipated loadings at specific points.
