tapered steerer

This new steering tube design is more rigid and generates a more secure ride feel even in difficult terrain. Due to the direct power transmission the greatest possible steering precision is generated. With the larger fork shaft the forks become more rigid. At the same time weight is saved due to the absence of bearing shells as the lower bearing is fully integral. On CUBE carbon models the upper bearing shells are also directly in the frame, so that once more a few grams are saved.

In cadrul acestui sistem, inelul exterior al rulmentului este presat direct in cadru si nu insurubat ca in cadrul modelelor clasice.

In cadrul acestui proces, cutari posibil periculoase ale fibrelor de carbon, sunt eliminate. Prin utilizarea matritelor interne fixe la incheieturile cadrului, cantitatea de rasina utilizata este considerabil redusa iar fibrele se interconecteaza mult mai strans. Rezultatul este reprezentat de cresterea sigurantei si de cresterea valorilor STW.

Pentru a proteja cadrele din dur-aluminiu, am dezvoltat sistemul de montare al schimbatorului spate FSS. Filetul de montare se afla in urechea cadrului si nu in cadru ca in cazul modelelor clasice. In eventualitatea unui accident, urechea de cadru poate fi inlocuita usor si rapid.

Acest sistem ne permite sa economisim piese in cadrul bicicletei. Acest sistem reduce greutatea totala cu 30g. Nu pare foarte mult, dar ne arata puterea pe care o areatentie pentru detalii.

Incastrarea cablurilor in cadru ofera mai multe avantaje: design placut, cablurile sunt protejate impotriva depunerilor de noroi si astfel au o viata mai lunga – de asemenea lipsa camasilor contribuie la reducerea greutatii.

In cazul cadrelor de aluminiu precum si in cazul tuturor cadrelor HPC, logourile si elementele grafice sunt aplicate in straturi succesive de vopsea. Utilizam aceasta tehnologie in principal ca si o modalitate de reducere a greutatii.
