BIKE Junior Team: RIDE CLEAN!

The team was founded in 2003 by BIKE editor and ex-racer Christoph Listmann (Transalp winner) and professional coach Erik Becker. The goal is to screen new talents, to integrate them into the team and to encourage their sports career. Some drivers from the youth level were already upgraded successfully in the elite class. Latest example is Martin Gluth who is now starting the 2nd year in the junior class with a professional contract.

A very important topic in the team is to prepare the kids step by step to a professional career. This includes doping education, but also public relations, cooperation with sponsors, professional photo shoots and presentation of the team in the public. Drivers who leave the junior team know the bike business well, are trained in dealing with the press and make independent reporting on the BIKE magazine's website.

The team presents itself not only on national and international competitions, but also at events such as Bike Festival Riva and Willingen. There is also a special section on the website of the BIKE magazine which is always filled with recent reports of the drivers.

The team operates under the slogan: "RIDE CLEAN!". The partners of the team refer to a clear position in the fight against doping and view it as an important foundation to support young talents in a clean sport without doping!

In the 2010 season, the team was extended to seven members (five boys and two girls) and new partners such as Milka create a professional appearance. The team is fighting for places on the podium with their CUBE Elites designed in the team colors.
